La Fromagerie
is located in the heart of Old Town Alexandria, on the corner
of King and South Payne Street. We are only four blocks
away from the King Street Metro Station.
La Fromagerie brings a "farm to shop" approach
to Alexandria by purchasing directly from farmers or their
trusted suppliers. We believe in sustainable and responsible
methods of farming, and are proud to support American artisan
cheese making.

Owner and Chef Sebastien Tavel bases his elegant, light
fare around fresh seasonal food available from local farmers,
particularly the heirloom and forageable produce that help
support the biodiversity of our area.
